New Venture Creation/Entrepreneurship

The creation of new ventures is one of the most important economic issues of our time, throughout the world. This means not only start-ups, but also the development of new activities by existing firms and spin-offs by universities, company expansions and takeovers. This course follows a sustainable entrepreneurship approach, dealing with all the economic, social and ecological aspects of new ventures.

Target group
Students of any discipline not just Business Studies who are interested in new venture creation and entrepreneurship. The aim is to form a very diverse international group.
Course aim
You are familiar with the latest recent theories in new venture creation.You are able to start your own enterprise in any national or regional context.

3 ECTS Contact hours: 30
Fee info
EUR 950: Includes orientation and course material. Does not include housing.
Scholarships
The Amsterdam Summer School offers twenty scholarships of 500 for highly motivated students. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is 1 April. Application for the scholarship is part of the general online application procedure.
