When coatings extend the lifetime of structures and tune their functionalities !Fields of activity : Material science, Coating Technology, Surface analyses and engineeringOur summer courses are intended to give an educational opportunity to non specialised students to develop their knowledge in the field of smart and protective coatings. These are planned in one-week sessions offering high-quality, innovative academic courses with lectures, industrial visits, practical workshops and more. A detailed programme is available on the dedicated website.You will also take part in cultural events and social activities, in or near Mons, organised by students with whom you will interact daily.

Course aim
Learning objectives : Multifunctional coatings production (sol-gel, plasma deposition, ) and applications (optical, photovoltaic, sensing, protective, self-healing)

Credits info
2 ECTS 2 ECTS credits will be recognized for each course, under the condition of a positive evaluation at the end of the course. We advise you to check that these credits are transferable to your home institution.
