This course is a service design seminar geared towards those with a basic level of experience as service designers. Throughout the course participants will strengthen their skills in the development of user-centered service solutions, while taking multi-faceted business processes into account. The course specificallyaddresses the business and %E2%80%98behind the scenes' aspects of service development.This course is a service design class for students with a basic level of experience as service designers. Participants of this course will work in teams on specific tasks and apply advanced service design tools. Students will learn new tools, deepen their knowledge regarding basic service design tools and learn how to bring the service design approach into their organisation. Throughout the course students will deepen their skills in how to design user-centric service solutions taking front- as well as backstage processes into account. The course specifically addresses the business and backstage areas of service development.The idea and its way to implementation will be defined, designed, visualised as well as presented by participants in the class. Innovation concepts will afterwards be evaluated and adapted to refine ideas and prototype concepts. Therefore previous knowledge is a prerequisite.
