It is our pleasure to invite you to Summer School 2015 at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. In just two exciting and challenging weeks you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in shoe design. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, from Denmark to Singapore from the UK to New Zealand, the award winning designer, Mgr. Jana Buch will impart a plethora of essential skills consolidated within a considered holistic approach. Initially studying how to build thematic consistency and design integrity within a collection; you%E2%80%98ll then be introduced to current trends and trend analysis. This theoretical study will be underpinned by a strong skills training in sketching; colour, form and proportion, which will be extended with CAD work. Subjects covered: %E2%80%A2Trends and trend analysis %E2%80%A2Visual communication skills %E2%80%A2Practical material crafting skills %E2%80%A2Bio-mechanics of the foot %E2%80%A2Basic health issues of the footDuring the TBU Summer Schools, students will have the opportunity to use our modern facilities to advance their personal development and skills.
