Short course - Building Information Modelling and Energy Analysis Tools

In this short course, we will provide you with skills and knowledge about how you can combine Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies with energy analysis tools in order to make BIM more useful for designing and constructing sustainable buildings.You will be supported by a dedicated BIM team from Birmingham City University (BCU), who will guide you through computer lab sessions and group work. Experts from reputable organisations such as Wilmott Dixon, BAM Construct UK Ltd (part of Royal BAM Group), and Chetwoods will also be there to support the activities, engage in discussions and provide you with expert knowledge.

Target group
This programme is for professionals in the built environment with an background or interest in systematic low carbon projects. This can include building design, construction, city planning, building energy systems, consultancy, NGOs, housing associations, estates managers, procurement officers, academics, and council officials.

Discounts can apply if you participate as a representative from an NGO, public authority or Start-up.
