As the amount of leisure time and consumer expenditures have been steadily increasing over the last few decades, it becomes imperative to understand the key issues of the growing Sport and Entertainment Industries. This intensive summer program will focus on mass media entertainment and marketing strategies for sports.

Course aim
the objective of Sports and Entertainment Management HEC summer School Program is to give comprehensive overview of key business issues related to these industries. With the completion of this program participants will be able to outline common practices and differences in how marketers determine, price, promote and sell their products and services in these industries.Summer school students work in diverse teams, hand-in-hand with top HEC Paris professors, and in interaction with leading experts.

Credits info
7 ECTS Upon successful course completion, students earn a Certificate as well as 3 US credits or 7 ECTS credits. (Each student is expected to validate the possibility of credit transfer with their home institution.)

Fee info
EUR 2220: Program fees include: full tuition, on-campus accommodation, student card, welcome barbecue and weekend bus transportation during the program from campus to downtown Paris.

Scholarships
2015 HEC Paris Summer scholarships will be awarded to selected applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, exceptional character and intellectual curiosity. All scholarships are merit-based. Applications are due by February 10, 2015.
