Physics students will be involved for 9 weeks in the new Fermilab experimental research activities,i.e. in the Mu2e, g-2, Nova, MicroBooNE and other neutrino physics experiments, as wellas in the research activity of the Fermilab group collaborating with the CMS experimentat CERN, or in the theory group. Some students will be involved in the CDF experiment data analysis. Engineering students will work in the Fermilab Accelerator Division, Technical Division and Computing Division.Internships in US laboratories and universities outside Fermilab may be possible both forphysics and engineering students.Each student will be supervised by one Fermilab employee, fully responsible of thestudent's research activity. The supervisor will ensure that the summer student entirelycompletes the assigned training program. Each student will present a written report subject to teaching staff's evaluation.The summer school is supported by institutions interested in training students from Italianand European institutions and offers full support for their permanence on american soil.
