Sustainability reporting has moved into the mainstream and is now standard practice for businesses and other organizations. This reporting is driven by stakeholders demanding information on the environmental, social, and economic performance of organizations. According to a recent survey, 71% of the world%E2%80%99s largest 4,000 largest companies now issue a sustainability report, and the percentage is increasing rapidly. This growth has also created a demand from consulting firms, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental organizations for expertise in sustainability reporting.This course will provide you with an overview of what organizations currently report about their environmental, social, and economic performance, and what organizations should be reporting. When you complete this course you will understand the kinds of performance metrics used to measure environmental, social, and economic performance. You will also understand what constitutes comprehensive sustainability reporting and how to evaluate the quality of sustainability reports.
