Programming in Java (August 3rd to 21st)Career week: (August 24th to 28th)-Optional German language course: (July 20th to 31st) In this course you will learn how to write computer programs in the programming language Java. You will be working at the computer. There will be some assignments which will form a big project in the end.

Target group
This course is designed for students who want to look into the field of computer science.Basic computer experience is required.

Course aim
Learning Goal/Output:After this course you will be able to understand basic concepts of writing a computer program with the programming language Java.Course Components:Topics like variables, loops, objects, input and output, user interfaces, collections, sorting, concurrent programming and event-driven programming will be covered.

Credits info
5 ECTS 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) for the Summer School or 6 ECTS if booked along with the optional German language course.

Fee info
EUR 1850: The fee includes: the Summer School academic program, the career week and some extracurricular activities. Optional German language course not included (560 Euros)
