ORGANISATION:
Celjski mladinski center - Celje Youth center is a non-profit organization, a place of ideas, socializing and acquiring knowledge.With our infrastructure and a wide variety of activities we enable young people to spend their free time actively and usefully. We offer a variety of interesting events and a braod spectre of activities: different workshops (photo, film, journalism,language...), cultural events, concerts, exibitions, theatre plays, creative workshops, film workshops, dance,...Our presence is known by festivals: Mediafest ? modern electronic music with live act and multimedia, Stopin''ce ? youth literature festival, Street Olympics ? sport events combined with culture, renovating playgrounds... We also work on primary schools as volunteers doing youthworkshops on different subjects with pupils. We cover internationalrealations as exchanges and EVS cooperation. The activities of the youth center as a whole are oriented towards providing information and
stimulating volunteerwork among the young.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The volunteer should have interest to learn something new and work with youngsters in the field of information technology, media, communication and youth information. But it is not necessary to posses any special computer skills but normal everyday usage of computers, because we will offer him/her special education in computer skills. So the project is oriented to all young people who are keen to gain new experiences in youth work.The project itself would raise the tolerance and the awareness
between the locals and the volunteer, who will aproach to the youngsters with different, new, intercultural proceeding. The volunteer will also take part in non profit making activities and aswell as the stuff of the centre he/she will also participate in the trainings, organised by the centre and other organisations, as special courses for computer design, and he/she will be introduced to the youth policy in the country and he/she will take part in the activities, he/she would prefer. We all will contribute to the better understanding through common work and tasks, attain new social skills and learn from each other. The volunteer willm spend most of the time in our centre helping by the tasks, that the centre offers to young people. She will have the opportunity to get to know our wide spectrum of activities and he/she could decide by him/herself in which fields he/she would like to help and improve his/her knowledge.
He/she will have free hand at work on his own project in our centre. He/she would be encouraged to make his/her individual project and ideas based on daily work with our help and guidelines. His/her the most important task will be to contact the youngsters (especially those who hang up through the day in our centre) and to motivate them to do some work on computers with his/her help. Together with help of our stuff they can design posters and other publication for the mothly program.
