Description: We would like give skills in working with theater as tool in making activities with young people, especially young people with fewer opportunities.
Our organization (GIOSEF - CASERTA) has already developed a youth exchanges about theater and we would like to use this idea in a Training Course.
Objectives:
- explore different tools used in theater, and how they can be used in social work
- improve youth workers skills as theater animators
- explore theater as form of non-formal education
- gain skills in working with young people with fewer opportunities using theater
- explore how theater can be used in Youth in Action projects and other communitarians programs dealing with young people.
Who can participates: - Youth Workers, Project Managers, Youth Leaders, People interested in working with youngsters with fewer opportunities.(Is not necessary having previous experience in theater)0
Each organization can send 3 participants.
Where the project will be?
The project will take place in Caserta (Italy) which is placed near Napoli.
When the project will start?
From 7th till 13th September 2009.
