This is a call from youngsters seeking for an exchange partner in Europe. They urgently need a reaction (deadline January 1 2009)!
We are a group of 15 to 20 young Dutch people organizing an exchange and now we are looking for an exchange partner!
We all go to the same school and our average age is 15 years old. When we all heard we had a chance to organize an exchange with an other country, we all entered the group! In the beginning we all didn’t know each other very well, but during the meetings we got to know each other better.
We are organizing this exchange by ourselves and together we stand open for meeting new people, and that is one of our main reasons for why we would love going on an exchange with an other country!
We have got a few things we expect from our exchange group:
- We would like a group with an (doesn’t have to be exact) equal amount of boys and girls.
- Students/youth that is excited participating in this exchange.
- Their age has to be between 15 and 18 years old.
- The group size will have to be between 16 and 20 young people.
- And off course we’re looking for students who are prepared to do something new and have fun!
The organization who set up this project is called Delta. It is settled in our hometown Boxtel, which lays in the district Noord-Brabant. This foundation organizes lots of activities and projects for youth and they also decided to start this exchange!
We are also working together with the organization Youth in Action. This organization gives subsidy and support to European projects like ours. Their goal is increasing the active involvement of youth in Europe. That youth learns to stand open for different cultures and increasing their personal skills.
We are all really looking forward having an exchange with your country and are very busy organizing the exchange. We hope you are excited about our project and would like to participate!
