Call for participants - Respecting Diversity training, 18-20 November, Bucharest, Romania
British Council Romania is organising a training workshop under the Respecting Diversity project. The training is for youth organisations in Romania active in the area of diversity and interested in joint projects with UK organisations.
The purpose of the Respecting Diversity project is to improve the awareness of diversity issues among Romanian and UK young audiences by building capacity for youth non governmental organisations active in the area of diversity and by training them how to access European funds through joint project proposals.
Representatives of youth NGOs active in the area of diversity can apply now for registering at this training.
The participants should:
- have recent experience of working in youth projects
- be open to constantly raising their cross-cultural awareness
- be interested in establishing partnerships with Romanian and UK youth organisations
- have an interest in working in the area of diversity
- be open minded and willing to experiment different training approaches
- have the support of their senior management to apply for European funds
- demonstrate strong interpersonal skills – for example motivation, enthusiasm, sensitivity, sense of humour, listening skills
- have the ability to understand written and oral English and to communicate very well in English
