This workshop uses drawing, photography and visual narrative to improve your design thinking skills.This course is about how to see your everyday surroundings and your design process anew. using visualisation tools such as photography, sketching, diagramming, and storyboarding to improve your visual narrative and communication skills. in this course we will explore and ultimately explain complex design problems and their possible solutions. the exercises taught will demonstrate clear methods of how to visually communicate the physical three dimensional environment in order to make sense in terms of unique and sophisticated new design solutions. To summarise in a nutshell, this course is about enhancing your individual design process by understanding how to visualise the future in conjunction with art, architecture and design. This workshop uses drawing, photography & visual narrative to improve your design thinking skills.

Target group
All students interested in learning to leverage the full range of visualisation tools from photography to sketching, diagramming, and storyboarding to observe, document, explore, and ultimately explain complex design problems and their possible solutions. Students studying industrial design, architecture, interior design, graphic design and interaction design would all benefit from an increased awareness of how to capture salient information (observation), organise it (diagramming and mapping), visualise solutions (sketching and storyboarding) in order to tell sophisticated.
