Sheffield Hallam University will continue to offer European Achievement Scholarships of L1000 to EU students who begin a full-time course at the University in September 2008, in the 2008/09 academic year.
Successful applicants will be awarded with a cheque and a certificate to mark their achievement at an annual Prizewinners Reception.

Eligibility criteria
You are eligible to be considered for the European Achievement Scholarship if:
-you are a national of an EU country
-you have achieved, or are expecting to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (the IELTS requirement for the chosen course may be higher)
-you can evidence achievement via your personal statement.

In addition postgraduate applicants must have:
a good undergraduate degree and undergraduate applicants must have:
a high standard of secondary education
given a firm or insurance acceptance of offer.

How to apply
Applications for the scholarship should be made by completing the application form.
Applications for the European Achievement Scholarship should be made with, or following, an application for a taught course at Sheffield Hallam University.

The deadline for applying for the scholarship is 30 June 2008.
