Faculty PhD scholarships

A number of positions in the form of salaried PhD scholarships are available. The PhD project must commence no later than 1 June 2014.

The following three categories of scholarships are offered:
1. PhD scholarships
2. Career PhD scholarships
3. PhD internship scholarships

PhD internship scholarships are available to medical students who enrol in an internship programme between 20 January 2014 and 31 January 2014 with a plan to start on 1 August 2014 or who enrol in an internship programme between 11 August 2014 and 24 August 2014 with a plan to start on 1 February 2015. The training must start with enrolment as a PhD student at a preclinical department at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. When the applicant has completed the PhD programme, an internship at a hospital within a radius of 50 km from the Faculty is guaranteed.

This programme is based on an agreement between the Danish Association of Junior Doctors, the Danish Health and Medicine Authority and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The scheme offers new PhD internship positions with combined employment as a PhD student and as an intern.
