Master's Programme: International Business in a Global Context with an Emphasis on Central Europe -- University of Economics (VSE), Prague, Czech Republic The University of Economics, Prague (VSE v Praze) is the leading university in the field of management and economics in the Czech Republic. For the past three years, the university has been offering a two-year "International Business in a Global Context with an Emphasis on Central Europe" Master's programme. The curriculum is taught in English. The programme is designed for students from all over the world who have completed their bachelor's study or who are finishing their bachelor's degree - studies have to be finished by the end of June 2006. As Prague has become an international crossroads where many expatriates and diplomats are living with their families, we believe that studying international business at a Czech university might be an interesting proposal and challenge for individuals with a bachelor's degree who are thinking about where to continue their studies at the graduate level. The essential features of the International Business programme are its interdisciplinary approach, integration of management studies with intercultural aspects, adn analyses of regional markets in a global environment. The International Business programme provides students and subsequent graduates with the knowledge and skills indispensable for their career in middle and top management of big multinational companies. The highly international composition of student body is also a strong advantage of the programme.
