One PhD fellowship and one Post-doctoral fellowship within the field of molecular magnetism are available in the Inorganic Chemistry group, at the Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen.

Research project
The fundamental objectives of the proposed research project are the synthesis of new molecular materials, that combine magnetic and electronic transport, or redox, properties and their experimental study by thermodynamic and spectroscopic techniques to understand the phenomena that determine the properties of systems in which itinerant (conduction) and localised (magnetism) electrons coexist and interact.

These hybrid molecular materials will be based on the association of a magnetic part, consisting of a single-molecule magnet, associated to an inorganic or Carbon-based molecular entity or surface conferring the electron transport or redox properties to the system. This research project is funded by the Sapere Aude Program of the Danish Natural Science Research Council (Det Frie Forskningsrd).
