The University of Hildesheim Foundation’s Institute of Social Pedagogy and Organisation Studies announces five scholarships tenable from 15.10.2010 for the new doctoral studies course (part-funded by the State of Lower Saxony), `Social Services in Changing Times`: 5 Georg Christoph Lichtenberg Scholarships for Doctoral Study.
Applicants must have a good degree in Education, Social Sciences or Law. The application should be accompanied by a 15-page expose, a curriculum vitae and a letter (3 pages) explaining the candidate’s reasons for applying. The doctoral research proposed must fall within one of the following three areas:
- Transnationalism in social services
- Management, regulation, law and communication relating to and within social services
- Biographies, transitions and social services
