The International Helmholtz Research School "Frontiers in Cell Signaling and Gene Regulation" (SignGene) is a new joint PhD program between Berlin in Germany and Haifa and Jerusalem in Israel. Our research focuses on unraveling the mechanisms that govern the development and physiological functions of normal cells with the goal to understand the pathological processes underlying diseases such as cancer.
Lively interactions within our network of world-leading scientists and vivid scientific collaborations across borders make SignGene an exceptional international experience for PhD students.
