For its 2010/11 intake of postgraduate research students, the Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment is particularly keen to receive applications addressing the topics listed below. Topics are grouped by Research Institute (RI). The campus base for Art and Design is Belfast, for the Built Environment it is Jordanstown.
"There are a number of topics in both Art and Design and the Built Environment that can be developed as cross-School (and possibly cross-Faculty) topics (even if the supervisors listed are not already crossing School of Faculty boundaries). We are open to proposals to take such a direction."

DEL Research Studentships (DEL)
The University has DEL research studentships available in many subject areas. These pay tuition fees and an annual maintenance award of not less than 13,590 per annum.
Vice-Chancellor's Research Scholarships (VCRS)
A number of University funded VCRS will be available in certain subject areas.
