Over the last 4 years, the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick, has developed an integrated research strategy.
The research strategy is encapsulated under the broad theme of ‘Organisation Science and Public Policy’. The Kemmy Business School is offering a PhD scholarship under the following research themes:
• Work, Knowledge and Employment
• Services Economy and Tourism
• Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Marketing
• Public Policy, Enterprise, Governance and Sustainability
The Scholarship will be awarded to a new or 1 already registered for a PhD programme at the Kemmy Business School). Students are required to have an upper second honours degree in a related discipline.The KBS Graduate Research Centre is home to approximately 100 postgraduate research students pursuing masters and doctoral degrees.
The value of the scholarship is €14,000 p.a. plus EU fees for a maximum of 3 years (the final year fee will have to be paid by the student). Applications are also welcome from non-EU citizens, however, only EU fees for a maximum of 3 years are covered by the scholarship, (the final year fee will have to be paid by the student). The successful applicant will be required to teach up to 6 hours tutorials per week during the semester as assigned by the relevant Department Head. As appropriate and in consultation with their supervisor(s), the student will also be required to apply for external funding opportunities that may arise during the course of their studies.
