Copenhagen Business School invites applications for vacant PhD scholarships related to the management of operations, performance, supply chains, innovation, and/or business economics. The scholarships are located at the Department of Operations Management and can address research issues related to one of more of the following core research areas of the department:

- Business economics -is about cost and price theory – focuses on decision-making concerning pricing, scope of production and resource allocation based on modelling of the activities of the enterprise.

- Performance Management -is about setting up and using various types of information, planning, accounting, and reporting systems as well as budgeting and follow-up.



- Supply chain management-concerns the management of the flow of services, products, product development and information through enterprises in chains and networks.

- Innovation Management – concerns the management of product and process development

Operations management - concerns management and organisation of production activities and issuesThe scholarships are oriented towards all the above research areas. The department prioritises research which has an interest in laying out the roles of management tools and techniques. It will be an advantage if the PhD candidate can relate to more than one of the research areas. The department also prioritises empirical research in order to develop a distinct relation between research and practice.

The Department will give priority to applicants with high grades from their universities.
