The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEWEB) seeks to combine high quality education with excellent research. It offers four Bachelor and eight Master programmes together with thirteen professional degree programmes. The faculty has several research groups with an outstanding international reputation. FEWEB accommodates approximately 5,000 students and 1,500 postgraduate students. Over 500 staff members are employed at the Faculty. We are located at the main campus of VU University in Amsterdam.

The Department of Finance and the Department of Econometrics & OR consist of ambitious groups of researchers who are dedicated to high-quality teaching and research. We are actively engaged in the PhD and graduate programmes of the Tinbergen Institute, www.tinbergen.nl. The quality of our research in financial econometrics is reflected by our publication record, our active and relevant research agenda and our collaborations with international researchers. We are highly motivated to continue the development of theory and methods with a focus on financial economics.
