- The candidate should have research experience in cloud computing, and is familiar with cloud computing platforms (such as MapReduce, Key-value store and distributed file systems etc).
- The candidate should have reasonable publication records in at least one of the following fields: distributed systems, databases, file systems, computing systems, cloud computing and high performance computing.
- The candidate will work in a team with other research fellows and faculties to deliver the research results, and to publish in reputable conferences and journals.
- Specific topics for the positions: (1. NRF project) design and implementation of data management systems in the cloud. (2. A*Star project) design and development of a high performance hybrid petabyte-scale storage system. If the candidates demonstrate very strong research motivation, we can explore other topics related to cloud computing.
