The goal of the Centre for Applied Social Sciences (CASS) in the University of Tartu is to offer high-quality applied research and analyses in social sciences.
We offer a position in the CASS team for a RESEARCHER, whose responsibility would be doing analyses and coordinating research projects, including:
- carrying out applied research and analyses in social sciences,
- applying for projects in Estonia and abroad,
- accomplishing, coordinating and leading research projects.
A successful applicant has:
- a degree (Master’s or PhD) in social sciences;
- experience in leading applied research projects including preferably experience in leading or taking part in international projects;
- experience in writing project tenders;
- very good analytical and administrative abilities;
- very good communicating skills;
- ability to work individually and as a part of a team;
- fluency in English;
- very good knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office) and preferably statistical software (Stata, SPSS, Eviews).
