A PhD position is available in the laboratory of Prof Melissa Little at the IMB. The focus of this lab is on the molecular basis of kidney development, disease, repair and regeneration with the long-term aim of novel therapies for kidney disease.
The scholarship will provide a stipend of $28,000/year for up to 3.5 yours and is open to both national and international applicants with an appropriate degree in science or medicine and an interest in the field. Preference will be given to applicants with a grounding in molecular biology and/or cell biology, particularly in the areas of stem cells or development. For international students, the scholarship will not cover fees, but the applicant may apply for a UQ scholarship for fee support.
