PHD PROGRAM IN ECONOMICS, MARKETS, INSTITUTIONS
5/5061
calendar_month 17 Oct 2007, 00:00
The doctoral Program engages students in a systematic analysis of the functioning of markets and industries in a global context, with a specific focus on comparative institutional studies and competition policy, as well as the impact of macroeconomic policy on productivity and growth.

The Program also focuses on processes of institutional and regulatory reforms through political influences, market liberalizations, and instances of supra-national market integration.

The interaction between theory and practice is one of the main features of the Program. Analytical models and techniques are challenged through the systematic investigation of real world phenomena and case studies. Graduates are qualified to analyze, design, and manage Programs within economic institutions, regulatory agencies, and multinational companies.
