EBIM Economic Behavior and Interaction Models
The Third Doctoral Workshop
11th–12th December 2008 in Bielefeld, Germany
Aim The workshop is aimed at providing doctoral students with an opportunity to present their research, discuss new developments in their fields and establish contacts to other doctoral students. It has been designed to create an informal atmosphere, in which participants can discuss their “work-in-progress" with their peers.
Organisation Committee The Doctoral Workshop is organised by the doctoral students of the
International Research Training Group EBIM.
Call for Papers We welcome research papers (from doctoral students) with a quantitative
focus in the following areas:
- Mathematical Finance
- Non-Cooperative and Cooperative Game Theory
- General Equilibrium Theory
- Evolutionary Game Theory
- Network Games
- Social Economics and Social Interactions
- Decision Theory
- Industrial Organisation
- Economics of Information and Incentives
- Growth Theory and Innovation Economics

attached pdf-file to EBIM@wiwi.uni-bielefeld.de
Submission Deadline: 15th November 2008
Format Both days will be mainly dedicated to the presentation of contributed papers from the
doctoral students. A presentation will be 30 minutes including time to discuss results.
Accommodation and Travel Applicants may apply for financial support to cover
accomodation and travel costs. There is no participation fee.
