The university centres are located in three campuses:
Burjassot-Paterna, with the colleges of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, Pharmacy, and the Engineering Technical School; Blasco IbAnez, which covers the humanities area, the odontology and medical college, the nursing school, and the faculties of Psychology and Physical Education and Sports; and Tarongers, with the faculties of Social Sciences, Economics, and Law. Each campus caters for different services and research institutes.
The distinction between aEuropean Studentsa and aThird Country Studentsa is made in accordance with the criteria of the European Union.
Third Country Students are:
aNationals coming from all countries other than the 27 EU Member States, the EEA-EFTA states (Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the candidate countries for accession to the EU (presently Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), who are not residents of any of the above countries, and who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above countries.a
The term athird-countrya does not have anything to do with the term athird worlda.
Application procedure
Students from third countries that want to apply for the WOP-P Programme have to follow the procedure that is described below.
Students apply for the Coordinating Institution (University of Valencia) indicating their preferences (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th option) about the Consortium University where they want to be enrolled.

Last Modification on 27th November 2007Please note that as of the academic year 2008/2009 the number of applications by third country students must be limited to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses maximum according to the latest Call for Proposals (Please, see rules of European Commission in page 16, Implementation method. Click here to see the document).
In the eventual case that a student applies to more than three EM Courses he/she will be excluded from the selection for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
Documents required (ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE WRITTEN IN ENGLISH):
* the application form (in English), including a motivation letter (explaining why he/she has selected the Master and describing purposes and interests)
* application form for the acceptance of degree to study a postgraduate master
* a certified photocopy of the degree in Psychology with academic transcripts**
* language certificates, if available
* CV (use English version) a Standard European Format only
* 2 letters of reference (one preferably academic)
* Proof of sufficient financial support from a sponsor or bank demonstrating the ability to pay the tuition fee and living expenses
* A proof of nationality (copy of passport).
**The attached documentation must be presented in English, or must be translated in English by a sworn translator or by a Diplomatic representative.
The application form and the different documents have to be submitted by post, and e-mail (scanned) to the Coordinating Institution (University of Valencia). Original documents have to be provided in due course.

The application deadline for the WOP-P Programme is May 31st 2008 (arrival date of documents). Students who wish to be considered for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or grant for 2008/2009 must apply until December 15th, 2007 (arrival date of documents).
