Are you interested in Social and Behavioural sciences? Do you want to become a scientist? By following this English language Master’s programme you optimally prepare for a career as a scientist in one of the following areas:
* Education and Developmental Psychology [You are changing portals]
* Psychometrics and Statistics
* Social & Organizational Psychology
* Sociology
In this two year programme (120 EC), you are actively involved from day one in one of these different research areas. The Research Master is highly selective and specifically geared towards a career in research (e.g. at a university, at a research institute, or in a R&D department of a company). Together with your supervisor, you determine the focus of your own individual programme of study in such a way that it highly suits your ambition, talents and interests. Students with a Bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences or a related field are admissible to the programme. The selection of students is based on previous education, grades, motivation, and mastery of English.
The Research Master programme is a first step to becoming a scientist. It is an ideal preparation for the next step: doing a PhD study, writing a dissertation, and graduating as a PhD. The graduate school in which the Research Master is organized, also offers a training programme for PhD students.
