Applicants to Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School full-time degree programmes may apply for a scholarship to (partly) cover tuition fees. To be eligible for one of these scholarships, applicants must be admitted to one of the following programmes:

-Masters in Management
-Masters in Marketing
-Masters in Finance
-Full-time International MBA

Scholarships are awarded as payment of tuition fees on the basis of merit or need.

Scholarships are only available for a portion of the programme tuition fees. Living and travel expenses are not covered by scholarships.

How to apply for a scholarship?
Applicants must submit a 350-500 word essay addressing the following question: "Describe your motivation for wanting to acquire an international management education."
This essay should be written on your online application form and submitted together with the programme application.

Scholarship applications will be judged on the basis of the applicantas understanding of:

-management education
-the need to understand cultural differences in business
-the potential impact of a management education on the applicantas career prospects, and
-the applicantas communication style

Applications will be judged by a panel of experts from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. The panel''s decision is final.

Application deadline
The application deadline for scholarships is 1 April 2008 for all candidates (including EU residents), regardless of residence and application procedure.

We aim to inform successful candidates by 15 May 2008. Scholarship winners may be published in national and international press.
