Despite differences in health system structure, financing and political context, every European health system faces significant challenges in the years ahead: an ageing population and health workforce; increased levels of chronic disease; and changing patient perceptions of what healthcare should deliver. These challenges demand confident, innovative health leadership prepared to look beyond local or national boundaries for solutions.
The EHMA/MCI winter school is an event designed for health leaders who want an international context to interrogate ideas and build a network of like-minded peers. Running over 2.5 days, the winter school is focused on how to manage and lead healthcare in practice, offering the opportunity to explore innovative ideas in depth and to work on practical management and leadership solutions.
