This is a hands-on, nuts and bolts workshop focusing on writing academic texts in English. Our work will center on participants' current drafts, with the aim of offering specific advice and suggestions for each writer.
The workshop will be run entirely in English and is aimed at MA/ MSc and PhD students as well as faculty members working on writing projects intended for international publication. This is a shortened version of our current semester-long academic writing course, and we will meet for two weeks in July.

The goals of the workshop are to provide the participants with:skills and techniques for writing academic texts in English a place to discuss central conventions in academic writing and guidance as to how the participants can use these conventions in the texts they are currently writing. an opportunity to conduct academic conversations in English and to become familiar with the linguistic aspects of oral academic English an incentive to spend two weeks writing intensively
