There are numerous methods to measure plant reaction to the surrounding climate. The objective of the course is to combine theory and hands on training using state of art equipment for measuring photosynthesis, stress and plant growth. This allows students to obtain skills in how to perform and plan plant experiments in the field or in greenhouse and what kind of pitfalls and challenges that one might experience.

Upon completion of the course the student is expected to be able to:
- Explain the factors that regulate water loss and photosynthesis
- Analyse the effects of different selected abiotic conditions on crop production and plant physiology
- Discuss the relevance of different physiological methods in crop physiology

EUR 0: Students on a bilateral exchange programme do not have to pay. Freemovers are obliged to pay participation fees while tuition fees only apply to freemovers from countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland.
