The course focuses on various means of bioenergy and biofuels production and gives the attendees the ability to evaluate the economics of various new biorefineries.

Final-year Bachelor's and Master's students in field on technology and technology management.

Course aim
The main aim of the course is to be able to explain how energy is produced and used in forest industry.

Credits
3.0 ECTS credits

The course attendees receive 3 ECTS credits upon successfully completed exam and meeting the mandatory presence requirements.Students have also an opportunity to receive additional credits upon completing mutually agreed voluntary additional work on a subject. The amount of additional ECTS credits varies from 1 to 3 depending on the extent of the additional work.

Course fee
EUR 495: For students from partner universities:tuition EUR 495 + accommodation EUR 250 for 1-2 weeks or EUR 300 for 3-4 weeks.

EUR 695: For students from non-partner universities:tuition EUR 695 + accommodation EUR 250 for 1-2 weeks or EUR 300 for 3-4 weeks.
