The course familiarizes students with how to produce and publish multimedia stories on the internet using text, photos, audio and video. The emphasis will be on 'learning by doing' with practical exercises and assignments using professional equipment followed by feedback sessions in which the students and the lecturers will identify examples of good practice as well as points for improvement.
Students will be expected to work both individually and in teams. They will be working towards pre-established deadlines for which effective time management and communication will be essential.Part of the course will be conducted at the premises of RNTC in Hilversum using its professional radio/audio facilities and equipment.RNTC is the international training centre of Radio Netherlands Worldwide, the Dutch International Broadcaster.

Course aim
Upon completing the course, the participants will be familiar with: writing for the internet sourcing and making their own photos, recording and editing audio and video using a content management system to publish their material using social media such as Twitter and Facebook to do research, generate content ideas and get attention and response to their stories
