Target group
The European Summer Program of Lille catholic University is a multidisciplinary program designed for students who are looking for a comprehensive educational experience abroad. Our students come from all over the world. This variety makes the program even richer for participants when they are able to mix with their international students sharing a similar experience in France. Students should have completed secondary education in their home country and have a good knowledge of English.

Course aim
Color Your World:What is your favourite colour? Romantic lighting? Have you ever wondered why a butterfly is blue, or why the sky? Do you or anyone you know have trouble distinguishing colours? Or maybe you are looking at a career using colour? Colour science is a fun and exciting field which touches many subjects: vision, dyeing, painting and printing, display, lighting, food, cosmetics, nature The course will propose a definition of colour before learning about light measurement and colour control. Through practical work, students will use colour measurement instruments, protocols and consideration and will study samples. Industrial Design: from Pencil to Product:Detailed course topics:- Project analysis- Helping tools analysis- Breaking down a project into stages- Management of the stages- Defining specifications- Finding solutions- Planning work- Controlling quality
