The course will cover the main issues of a rapidly developing subject of socialresponsibility and good citizenship of multinational corporations. Participantswill explore the need for a firm to fit social performance to its stakeholderenvironment and the effect of corporate social responsibility activities on bothreputation and financial performance. The University of Reading is home to theJohn Madejski Centre for Reputation, a dedicated research centre whose researchactivities include studies of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
