Under supervision of professionals participants will be guided to photojournalism. Participants will learn how to tell visual stories that have an emotional impact on the viewer while creating portraits, landscapes and event photos relating to certain subjects. Students are free to create a photo story on any subject, but they will also get an introduction to, and some ideas of Estonian culture and life in Estonia from teachers and the coordinator.

We will help with finding the right contacts for your photo story as well as with organizing short travels outside Tallinn if needed. This course is a combination of lectures and shooting and students will be receiving feedback from the teacher while planning and creating their photo story. In the end of the course, every photo story will be analysed by the tutors and course participants and everybody will get advice and recommendations for their future works.

Target group
This course is suitable for people with prior experience in photography. Each participant will receive a diploma and a digital photo book with all photo stories. The course is limited to 15 participants. Participants should have their own cameras to use.
