Creative Psychotherapy, alternatively known as Art Therapy, is a method of psychotherapy incorporating creativity as its fundamental tool. During the course, students will learn basic principles, review the field's theoretical background, as well as gain experience with the creative practices themselves.
The course will demonstrate clearly that creativity is something all individuals possess to one degree or another.No prior coursework or experience is required for enrollment. Rather than receive instruction directed toward specific competences, participants will engage in guided exploration and experience.
The course method focuses on the invidividual and his or her unique way of producing creative work.Course participants will learn to use creative work as a tool for communication and exploration of the subconscious, as well as develop a better understanding of the self and the social environment. Course methodology respects the individual's ability and willingness to explore at one's own pace and style in a confidential setting where it is safe to express both ideas and emotions.

This course is designed for students of all levels who are interested in creative psychotherapy. It is recommended together with a painting workshop.
