Creative writing embraces a wide range of genres, from fiction to non-fiction, including the novel, the short story, poetry, drama and screen-writing, and various forms of writing such as crime, travel and biographies. Creative writing includes all writing that is original, innovative and imaginative.
It can be what you do for your own pleasure or as your career.The course deals with crime fiction, a rapidly growing and immensely popular contemporary genre, which has a long and varied history and many sub-genres. The course format is based on a mixture of workshops and seminars. You will have the opportunity to meet some well-known writers who will offer inspiration through sharing with you their personal writing experiences.

This summer course is suitable for all people who are interested in creative writing.
Course aim
This course will help you get started as a writer, or develop as a writer, by enabling you to improve your existing skills and cultivate your imagination. Through writing workshops and guided readings, this course will introduce you to the important elements of the craft. The aim is to comprehend and analyse texts, to develop competence in writing and text revision, to practise and develop literary discussion and analytical skills.
