The aim of the course is to integrate concepts of inventory theory, operations management, logistics and marketing into a conceptual framework to analyse various issues in supply chain management with a special focus on customer orientation. The course builds on principles of general management, of production or inventory management, of SCM, of basic statistics and mathematics.Course offered by Department of Business studies, Aarhus School of Business, AU.

Target group
Students should have at least completed a course in general management, a course in operations management or SCM with, obviously, courses in mathematics/statistics for management students and a course in quantitative methods or operations research. Knowledge of Excel is also necessary. More importantly, eagerness to integrate knowledge of various subjects in management by using analytical techniques is essential!
Course aim
Students who finish the course with success will have a greater ability to integrate methods and techniques from various subjects in business administration. Students will also gain in technical expertise for the analysis of supply chain issues.
