An introduction to cultural leadership. Delivered by Nicola Turner, former Assistant Director of the UK's Cultural Leadership Programme (CLP) and Mark Wright, CLP Programme Partner and creator of innovative programmes such as Leadership Development Days, Leadership Unleashed and Wayfarer.This course will develop entrepreneurial and creative leadership skills through theoretical briefings, practical diagnostic and developmental workshops and international leadership case studies.

Themes include: Leadership, Management and Followership; clarification of language and assumptions about leadership; leadership styles; positional power, influence and courage. There will be ample opportunities for participants to engage with each other, reflect on their options and build diverse, sustainable networks.

Each participant will go away with an individual programme of development, enhanced leadership skills applicable to their own organisation, business or creative practice, new models of working and the basis for developing new cultural and creative networks.
