With a course in Diagnosis of Plant Disease in Agricultural Crops you can help to change, optimise and define the terms and conditions for tomorrow's food production for the benefit of your own and future generations. In a world with a changing climate and a growing population, agriculture and society face huge challenges.

Many issues must be taken into account. The food supply must increase and food production must be more efficient. There is also a need to improve animal health and welfare and to protect our natural environment and resources. Course offered by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, AU.

Agro-microbiology or similar course within microbiology and/or plant pathology is recommended.

Course aim
The course aims to mediate basic knowledge, methods and techniques to enable you to diagnose and quantify plant diseases and other stresses in agricultural crops, using an array of diagnostic methods and assessment techniques.
