Experience what it takes to do business in Europe successfully. Focus on European economy, zoom in on business life and Europe, and take your business competences to the ultimate test: a real-life management game on strategic marketing, finance or entrepreneurship.The first part of this course offers an introduction to European economy, on current issues, trends and hot topics. The second part of the programme offers a practical approach to dealing with several aspects of the diverse business setting in Europe.

To truly experience this diversity, you will not just stay in the Netherlands, but will also spend a week in Italy. The third part offers the real-life management game. This special track consists of:

Part 1: European Business and Economy

Part 2: European Business Skills

Part 3: Choice of one of the following:

- It's All About Money; Management Game Finance

- The Right Target; Management Game Strategic Marketing

- Business Not As Usual; Management Game Entrepreneurship

Target group
This course is open for non-European students but also for students from Europe who would like to get a broad overview of economic developments in Europe. A study background in business, marketing or finance is not necessary (but welcomed), but a strong interest in these fields is. A good command of English is necessary, as well as the ambition to work hard and actively participate in the course.

Course aim
After successful completion of this programme participants will have gained an insight in European economic developments, focused on their implications for business life, and will have been challenged to develop and use their own management skills in an international setting.

EUR 3125: Course + course materials + housing + mealplan (The transfers from Utrecht to Italy and from Italy back to Utrecht are included in the course fee.)
