Participants will be introduced into the interaction between the environmentand the economy and will learn about the economic foundations, implementationand performance of environmental policy instruments as well as the economics of switching to renewable energy sources and 'green' technologies.

The University of Reading provides a unique expertise in the studies of climate change as a home to the Walker Institute for Climate System Research, a multidisciplinary centreof academic excellence, where our Department contributes to the research ineconomics and human behavioural responses to climate change.
