Developing a new language to address the intersections of economy and society is a vital contemporary concern. This summer school is oriented to the contemporary social science concern with the economy and the turn towards the social in the broad range of economics and business.

Plenary lectures, small reading groups, writing exercises, all in a beautiful old Irish castle.rnrnOver a dozen staff from Irish and International universities, from diverse disciplines and perspectives, from organisation studies to anthropology, geography to criminology and of course, economics and sociology.

A further 5 ECTS may be earned by submitting a term-paper to relevant staff of the Economy and Society summer school.

EUR 500: Fee covers course attendence, accomodation and food for the week, plus occasional day-trips, entertainment and special events.
