In the course of the International Summer School 2011 the STYRIAN ACADEMY will in particular address the technologies and implementation strategies at the interface between smart grids and mobility as well as challenges arising from de-central feed-in to (electricity) grids.

It will also deal with technologies using material storage systems (e.g. hydrogen) to support electrical drives (e.g. via fuel cells). Furthermore, the Summer School will address challenges for storagetechnologies, their control in the context of smart grids, the dynamics of these grids and the social and political aspects of implementing smart grids together with cutting edge storage technologies.
