Our English+ course is designed for students with Pre-intermediate levels of English who want to visit the UK mainly to improve their English, but also to explore their creative talents. The advantage of studying on a specialist arts campus is that you will be surrounded by a vibrant creative atmosphere as you work on your English skills.rnrnrnThe English part of the course boosts your abilities in key language skills. you'll work with other students to improve your reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation of English, as well as improving your grammar, communication and vocabulary.rnrnrnAt the same time as becoming more fluent in English, you'll work on specialist projects in art and design - using your new found language skills to present your artistic ideas. We will introduce you to an exciting variety of art, design and media techniques through a lively mix of workshops, demonstrations, lectures and studio practice.

Target group
AUB Summer Courses are open to all those aged 17 or over at the time of taking the course. Our summer courses are attended by school leavers, university students and creative professionals wishing to learn new creative skills or change careers.

Course aim
The course is designed to increase your ability and confidence to research, create, and present artistic ideas and help you learn the vocabulary used in the creative industries. youll leave with a portfolio of artwork that demonstrates your new creative skills.
